He has worked for The Juilliard School in New York and The Santa Fe Opera in Santa Fe, New Mexico as a makeup artist and wig designer. His stage makeup and lace-front wigs have appeared in such productions as Ainadamar, Lucio Silla, Peter Grimes, Barber of Seville, Turandot, Nutcracker, Marriage of Figaro, American Occupation, Realm of Chelm, Macbeth, Gianni Schicci, Music Box, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, What You Will, L'Enfant, and Rebel Armies Deep into Chad. Noel currently works as a wig designer for Florida Stage and Palm Beach Dramaworks. Noel's experience in beauty makeup/hair includes such organizations and events as Lincoln Center Art Show, North American/Caribbean Model of the Year Competition, Florida International University Fashion Show, FAME Universe Fitness, Miss Florida Caribbean, NYU Diva Ball, East Coast USA Pageant, Chicago Crystal Ball Dancesport, Miss Gay US-of-A, Bosco's Bridal Fashion Show & Expo, International Dance Music Awards, Paul Anka Productions and countless models and brides. Additionally, Noel has worked with Univision, the leading Spanish-language television network in the U.S. His makeup and hair have been seen on Sábado Gigante, one of the network's most popular shows, and he has been a featured guest on the show. In his spare time, Noel volunteers with Hairstylists for Humanity, a non-profit organization that provides complimentary beauty services to the homeless, senior citizens and underpriviledged. He has also donated his talents to other community-based and socially-conscious organizations, including Pridelines, Stonewall Street Festival, and Wigapalooza. His education includes cosmetology from The Aveda Institute in New York, airbrush training from Creative Artistry & FX (Suzanne Patterson), and hair extension certification from SoCap Miami. In addition, he is a member of National Cosmetology Association, Association for Wedding Professionals International, MAC Cosmetics PRO Program for Professionals,and Aveda Institute Alumni. |
